e. We were at Curtis and Debbie's for our double baby shower with Jon & Mandy on Saturday night, and while we were gone, the furniture fairy (aka Cameron, our friend and neighbor) visited our house, leaving behind a great new dining room set! We've been eating off Grandma Jellema's dining room set for the past few years (I've had it since college) and it had seen better days. Most recently, one of the chairs actually split in half. The new set looks great in the dining room, and I have to admit that Lee really did pull this one off. We broke in the table with the Steens over dinner tonight, and we ate comfortably with the seven of us! That never would have happened at the old table!
