It's been a busy few weeks since Halloween, and people are starting to wonder if everything is OK here. It is! We've just been so busy that we haven't had time to get on blogger and add any posts. Also, our laptop has officially died (it's been on it's last leg for several months), so having to share the desktop is rough for us!
Lee has been staying busy with school and work, while Annika and I are enjoying our last few weeks before I have to return to work. We've gotten her Christmas pictures taken, taken care of MOST of the Christmas shopping, and are going to start decorating the house soon, so that everything is ready when I go back to work on December 3rd.
Annika is growing like a weed. She has her 2-month check-up tomorrow, and as of last week she is weighing over 14 pounds! She can hold her head up really well now, and is starting to "talk" - baby coos and grunts - that keep us entertained for hours. She recognizes us and smiles so much, and most important - she is sleeping through the night! We are very fortunate to get 5-6 hours of solid, uninterrupted sleep at this point! She's also recently discovered her thumb...
That's all for now - I'll be sure to add a Thanksgiving update at the end of the week! We'll be spending Thanksgiving here with Lee's family, and heading to Michigan for Christmas.
