We voted!

Today I took the afternoon off since Annika needed to go back to the doctor for one more shot - the second half of her flu shot... It took a LOT less time than I had planned, so we went to go vote! I'm glad that Annika could come along, even though she doesn't know what we were doing - but we want to teach her how important it is to get out and vote in order for every voice to be heard! I realized that my opinions have more or less stayed the same through all of the debates and other campaigning, so there is a pretty good chance that I'm not going to change my mind in the next two weeks. It was great! We walked right in and voted within minutes, even though there was quite a crowd there for early voting - about 30 people or so...

Then we came home and while I was occupied in the other room, Annika decided to clean out the drawers in the kitchen. She was so shocked when I caught her, but with this smile, how could I be angry? :)
