We have had a very fun weekend so far! Matt came into town, and the boys all hung out at the neighbors on Friday night (with all the kids!) while the girls were at our house. We had lots of good food and drinks and enjoyed everyone's company.
On Saturday, we went to the Chili Cook-off and sampled lots of different chilis. There were several thousand people there and we enjoyed walking around and seeing everyone. We even talked about entering the competition next year - it looked like so much fun! Here is a picture of Annika with her chili-tasting spoon!
Saturday afternoon the Steens came over and we alternated between the MSU game and the UGA/Tennessee game on TV, while eating all of the leftover food from the night before!
Today we went for a hike up to the reservoir at Berry College. It was a beautiful morning for a walk, and the trees are just starting to turn colors. We will definitely have to go back in the next few weeks to see more color. Maybe even walk up to the House of Dreams , which is several miles past the reservoir, if the weather holds up!
