Candles and Carols

Friday night we met up with Jon, Mandy and Kirk and went out for dinner and then to Berry College's Oak Hill for their annual Candles and Carols of Christmases Past.  Oak Hill and the Martha Berry Museum are beautiful places to go on any day, but for a few nights in December they illuminate the driveways, Ms. Berry's home, museum and gardens with candles.  We toured the museum and listened to carolers.   They also had crafts for children, a living Nativity scene with a few animals for the kids to pet, and Santa.  Unfortunately Annika wanted nothing to do with the skinny college-aged Santa with a pillow stuffed in his costume.  Maybe she will take more kindly to an older, more "realistic" version?
