Productive weekend...

We're glad to actually spend a full weekend at home, all together this weekend! Saturday was especially productive...we started out by checking out the Chieftains Museum Annual Plant & Herb Sale. We picked up lots of organic vegetables for our garden (from Youngs Mill Farm in Kingston, GA) and even a Meyer lemon tree. That should be fun to give a try this year. Annika got to plant her own bright pink flowers too.


After the plant sale, we headed to CRBI Waterfest and saw a lot of kayaks, canoes, and fish from the Oostenaula River. We got to see a friend's team win 2nd place in the Canoe tug-of-war too! Way to go Floyd County! Annika loved jumping on the inflatables, and it was great weather to be out at the park.

Now we are just getting ready for the next week. It's going to be another busy one, and I'll be leaving Friday for Stitches South for two days! So excited!
