This past weekend, we had a great time seeing many friends and family! Friday night, we had dinner with many of the teachers from Pepperell Middle School and Annika got to play with her friend, Eva Grace.
On Saturday, we had an incredible dinner with friends - ribs, smoked gouda mashed potatoes, eggplant and tomato gratin and chile cornbread...more food than any of us could eat! It was incredible!
Yesterday we went to Braxton's 2nd birthday party on Signal Mountain. Braxton's grandmother (Pam Holder) and Lee's mother were cousins...so I don't know what relationship that makes him to us, but we just call him a cousin! This was the first time that we got to meet Braxton and he was the greatest! He walked out to meet Annika and kissed her right on the forehead - I think they are going to be great friends! Braxton has had a rough 2 years - enduring a bone marrow transplant and surviving SCIDS, but you would never know it - he is so personable and outgoing and healthy! What a great little guy!
