Back to school!

It's been a while since we've updated...and for good reason - we've been busy! The school year for Lee has started already - he went back shortly after we returned from Michigan, and the students started last Friday. It's much different this year having his own classroom and homeroom, and it's proving to be a lot of work! Of course, he's doing well and is excited about the new subjects that he's teaching this year. We're also enjoying the last few weeks before he starts back up at Jacksonville State again. Thank goodness he will graduate next April!

I have been busy also, spending the past few days in Duluth at training...which means I spent three days in a hotel and Lee spent three days as a single dad while trying to survive the first few days of school as well! We all survived and are happy to go back to normal life now that I'm back at home.

Annika is busy growing! She is nearly 11 months old and was moved up to a new classroom this week. She is in with the "walkers"! She isn't quite walking yet, but she's getting daring and starting to stand up without holding on to anything. She is also teething again and is handling this pretty well. She's almost given up on all baby foods and LOVES to feed herself. Blueberries are her favorite - we're surprised her skin hasn't turned blue as much as she eats them!

This was our attempt at "cute" - the hair bow only lasted about 5 minutes before she tried to eat it...
