We're back from Washington!

We are back from our wonderful vacation to Washington DC! Lee and I had a really great time - and we are exhausted! We saw as much as we could see in four days - including several Smithsonian Institute museums, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, Ford's Theatre, Arlington National Cemetery and more...

I think the highlight for both of us was the segway tour. In three hours, we saw so much of the city with our great tour guide Josh and had fun riding the segways! Lee even recognized David Axelrod while we were cruising past the Capitol, and jumped off the segway at full speed to pose for a picture!

We also had fun just walking around, and reminded each other regularly how smart we were for NOT taking Annika along. Something about watching other people wrangle strollers down the longest escalators in the world (Dupont Circle - where we stayed) and onto the Metro made us very thankful that Annika was home safe in Georgia enjoying time with her Mimi, Paw, Uncle Billy and Aunt Gina. We are so lucky that they were all able to take care of her while we were gone! I'm sure she had just as much fun as we did, and was VERY spoiled.

We have posted all of the pictures from our vacation here. Check them out!
