Summertime!

Sorry for no recent posts. We have been busy enjoying summertime at our house! Lee has been golfing and taking care of Annika most days. She still goes to daycare 2 days a week, which works out well for Lee's golf schedule, and the rest of the days they hang out around town and have fun! I have been extremely busy at work, which is hard because I would rather be spending time with those two, but hopefully things will settle down there soon as well.

Right now, Annika is taking a nap after a 2-hour dance marathon while watching Mamma Mia - she should sleep for quite a while, I suspect. I am working on getting the house in order and maybe we will venture to the park (or the gym if these rain clouds don't move out soon). Lee is in Chicago with our friend Matt. They ventured up to see the Cubs and the game is just about to start. It sounds like they are having a really good time, with perfect weather. Tonight they will head up to Zeeland and stay with my mom for a few days, checking out the scene in Western Michigan. The plan is for them to be home by Wednesday, so only 3 more full days of being a single parent. I can make it...I think I can, I think I can...I only wish that Annika and I could be up there with them.

So, along with not posting, I also haven't taken too many pictures. I just realized that it is June 14th and I haven't even started a "June 2009" album yet. So, here it is - just a few pictures that I snapped in the last day or two. I will try to write more, or at least get some more pictures up!
