6 years - can you believe it?

It's been 6 years since we said "I do" and I can't believe how much our lives have changed in such a short amount of time! We have bought a house, got a dog, sold a house, contemplated moving back to Michigan, rented a house, bought another house (in Georgia), Lee changed careers (Probation to Teacher - good choice!), we had a beautiful baby girl, watched our beautiful baby girl grow into a sassy toddler, Lee added more initials to his name (M.Ed.) and we still manage to say "I love you" every single day - and mean it!

We have gone out without Annika more than usual lately - it's a lot easier now that we've found 2 really good babysitters in our area - so we decided to spend our anniversary as a family. We headed out bright and early on Sunday and headed to Atlanta. We spent several hours at the Imagine It! Children's Museum downtown, and Annika had a blast. I was worried that she might be too young to be entertained, but she ran through the entire museum for nearly two hours. It was also a really great way to channel her energy so that we could enjoy the rest of the afternoon with a (sleeping) baby in tow. After a great lunch, we spent the rest of the afternoon doing a little shopping and walking around. I could not have asked for a better day! Or a better husband!
