Puddle Jumper

This weekend, we went to visit Curtis & Debbie, and ended up heading to Chattanooga for dinner just as a huge storm was rolling in. The lightning was amazing, and we made it to Bea's just in time before the hard rain hit. I would say that Bea's probably has the world's best fried chicken. They also have pinto beans (one Southern food I still won't touch...), potatoes, cabbage, cornbread and rolls, slaw and more all served family style. This was Annika's first time and she loved the ham and rolls. I was surprised that she wouldn't even touch the peach cobbler, but I guess I should be thankful that she doesn't have the sweet-tooth that I do! :)

After dinner, the weather cleared up and "Paw" taught Annika how to jump in puddles in the Bea's parking lot. She had so much fun! And we saw an incredible rainbow on our way home while driving through the Chickamauga Battlefield. So beautiful!

So, this week we are getting ready and will be heading to the beach on Saturday. We are all looking forward to a few relaxing days to soak up some vitamin D! Will post pictures as soon as we return!
