This morning we ran in the Communities in Schools Run for Success 5k at Georgia Highlands College. We had a group of friends that all agreed to run...none of us trained too much, but it was a fun run around the lake. There were a lot less participants this year than in years past, which worked to our advantage. Out of the 11 in our "group", 5 won trophies for being in the top of their age group! No records were set for me, but I am excited that Lee agreed to join on this run! It was his first 5k, and he's eager to train for another one and see how his time improves.
