This past weekend I did the
Berry Half Marathon at Berry College. I didn't train as much as I would have liked, and I waivered back and forth on whether to back down to the 10k or just try to finish the half marathon, and I did it! It was a beautiful day and it was a great route around a beautiful campus - through front campus and then back through the Mountain campus - past Frost Chapel, the Elementary School, the Water Wheel, through Normandy Inn, the Winshape campus and back to front campus.
I'm happy to say that I made it all 13.1 miles without stopping, and I had the best partner for the last .1 mile - Annika joined me and nearly pulled me across the finish line!
It really was a lot of fun, and I may even consider giving it a try again next year, with a little more training to improve my time!
