We headed up to Boyne Mountain for a reunion with the college roommates and friends, and had so much fun! We drove up on Friday and hung out all evening at the villas. On Saturday we took a ride up the chair lift to see the great view (although overcast) from the top of the mountain. As the day went on, the weather cleared up and we had a lot of fun playing in the water, catching up with some friends that I haven't seen in years, watching the kids play together, and kayaking on Deer Lake. The temperatures in northern Michigan were "cold" - highs in the mid 70s - and got down right chilly at night, but we hung outside catching up until the wee hours of the morning both nights. Being from Georgia, and leaving 90+ temps at home, it never crossed our minds to pack long sleeved clothing, but we could have used it!

Today Annika and I headed to Ottawa Beach for a picnic with my mom while Lee stayed back and worked on his school work for VSU. We spent the afternoon swimming, and then played tennis and went to the city park after dinner. The weather is so amazing, and we are enjoying as much time as possible outside. We've got another few busy days planned before heading home. I left the camera cord at home, so I'll post pictures next weekend when we return!
Edited to include pics!
