Last weekend we went camping for a few nights at McKaskey Creek Campground on Lake Allatoona with friends Todd, Susan and Iona. It was hot, but the kids were great. Annika was excited to use her new sleeping bag (even in 90 degree temperatures) and liked sleeping in the tent. We lounged around most of the weekend, and took a couple dips in the lake. A pretty big thunderstorm rolled in on Saturday night, but remarkably both kids slept through it and we are remained (mostly) dry. It was great to get out of the house for a weekend and remind us why we are so thankful for air conditioning! :)
