Many of you donated to our Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk last September. As a family, we raised nearly $2,000! I was skimming through the newspaper today and saw this short article. How great is it that the event we were a part of was recognized as one of the top three in America!

Most of you know that my dad had to be moved to a nursing home just after the first of this year. This has been hard on the whole family, but especially for my mother who visits him daily. We're planning on walking again this year to continue the fight against Alzheimers so that other families don't have to deal with what is a reality to our family. We're going to raise our fundraising goal, and hope that we can get many more people to join our team! Please mark your calendars for Saturday, September 19th and come join our team at Berry College!
