Today is World Alzheimer's Day and we are working to raise awareness about Alzheimers disease and rally friends like you around the globe. Unfortunately, our local walk was postponed last Saturday due to the rain, but it will be rescheduled soon. We haven't met our team goal yet, but now we have extra time to make that happen! Even small amounts are so greatly appreciated.
Please make your donation today. I hope you'll consider one of these amounts:
$5.30 for the 5.3 million Americans with Alzheimers
$10 for their 10 million Alzheimers caregivers
$35 for the 35 million people with Alzheimers around the world
$78 for the 78 million US baby boomers who will be impacted by Alzheimers
$148 for the $148 billion annual societal cost to our nation
$428 for the meager $428 million dollars that the US government invests in Alzheimer research compared to $6 billion for cancer, $4 billion for heart disease and $3 billion for HIV/AIDS that has resulted in great advances.
Please click here to make a donation to our team. We truly appreciate your support in raising awareness and funds for the advancement of Alzheimers research, care and support.
Thank you,
Lee, Lynn & Annika
